
ADMISSION POLICY
St. Gregory, mindful of its mission to be witness to the love
of Christ for all, admits student of any race, color and
national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges,
programs and activities generally accorded to or make
available to students at this school. St. Gregory does not
unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color and
national and/or ethnic origin, age, gender or disability in
administration of educational policies, admissions policies,
scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school
administered programs.
All incoming students are academically tested and will, upon
satisfactory performance, be admitted as follows:
1. Siblings whose families are active members of St. Gregory
Parish.
2. Transferring Catholic school students whose families register in
the parish and become active.
3. Catholics out of parish.
4. Non-Catholics will be accepted if the school has capacity for
additional students.
These priorities are guidelines only. The pastor and principal shall
have broad discretionary authority in the application of these
guidelines to specific situations.
Age of Admission to Kindergarten: A pupil entering kindergarten
must be five years old on or before September first of that year.
Age of Admission to First Grade: A pupil entering first grade must
be six years old on or before September first of that year.
