I have many good memories of Yosemite, but I think my best was seeing the bear with its cubs walking across the river.  We were just getting done with writing in our notebooks and were all getting rounded up to talk about it when we here my friend yell, "Bear!"  We all turned suddenly and to our surprise, a bear with her little cubs walking across the rocks on the river.  We all took a step back in fear and got our cameras out to take pictures.  While all this was happening, I was thinking about how I was sitting on the rocks right where the bears crossed about ten minutes ago.  I was thinking about how amazing but scary it would be to go face to face with a bear and her cubs.  I was thankful that I wasn't there when the bears crossed, but I was amazed how calm the mom bear was around people.  The bear just kept going like a movie star when all the flashes are going off from the paparazi's cameras.  I was very happy to see this sight because none of the other groups had seen a bear, so we were the only group to see a bear.  Seeing the bear was my favorite memory from Yosemite.
