I
encountered many experiences of leadership in my time in Yosemite. In
Yosemite a persons hat was in a tree and they couldn't get it so I
jumped up and got it. I was a leader because I did something good.
When people needed a rest on the hike the hiking leader stopped for
them. The leader did his job. There were also many experiences of
stewardship in my trip to Yosemite. In Yosemite I pulled out many
blackberry bushes because they weren't native to Yosemite. I pulled it
out so
the blackberries die and get the native raspberry bushes more room to
grow. On the trail when I saw garbage I took it and
put it in the trash can. I did this so Yosemite doesn't turn into
a dump.
